Welcome to www.mcandrea.wordpress.com. I would like to thank Stephen, Sana, Allison, Steve, and jounalist-dave who all inspirited me to start this to begin with, and everyone who pushed me back in 2005, well this is it. It is my baby, it is not perfect, I will try not to make this an addiction and I will always try to place quality online.

This is a online diary of sites, links, you-tube clips, photo-essays, multimedia pieces, shows and things that have inspirited me.

HOW I GOT STARTED_
*In fall 2008 I started attending the international center of photography. I am living my dream and being challenged and inspired every day. During orientation students were asked if we had a blog and at the time I wish I could say yes. However I was also very skeptical and scared of the idea of placing something out there with your name on it. I saw my friends like Stephen Elliot and was amazed and intimidated at the same time.
*During election night Nov 4 2008, I created my first post on the blog http://wecanshootyou.wordpress.com/ when we were required to post our photographs which we took that night. My 2 photos can be seen on page 5 I want to thank Allison and Sana who helped me get over my fear.
*Lastly one day in my seminar for photojournalism class my professor Steve Simon showed us Where the hell is matt? which made me cry and finally pushed me over the edge. I myself at different times through different mediums -facebook/ text/ email sharing the link with my friends. In addition by attending ICP compounded by living in NYC and being alive during the information age I have access to more knowledge then I know how to organize.

Hence the creation of this site: Marie Claire Andrea: thats what she saw
